glass fabricator

A manufacturer of glass independently of window or facade framing systems in a building.

A glass supplier is a company which manufactures the glass used in a building's windows, facade, or internal areas. If the glass in a building is manufactured by the window supplier, then this role is not applied to any company with regard to that building.

The supplied material is the glass itself. Its application can be in a window, elsewhere in the facade, or inside the building, without requiring the fabricator to assemble the surrounding frame.

A window manufacturer joins glass and frame into a window. The exclusion above preserves the distinction when that window supplier also makes the glass, while a window frame manufacturer supplies the frame separately.
