An organization to promote common causes among various enrolled construction firms.
Professional associations whose members are construction contractors and managers.
The association joins construction contractors or managers around common professional or business interests. The membership relationship distinguishes it from a contractor or manager engaged to perform work on a particular construction project.
A general contractor coordinates subcontracted work, and construction management concerns management of the construction process. An association represents its members as a group. Registration or certification alone does not make a body a construction association.
