motion ride
Places where people experience thrilling or pleasurable motion, either as a ride or simulation.
Motion rides are places where people get thrills or pleasure from the experience of motion, usually with high speeds, turns, and/or drops. This also includes motion simulators, where the motion felt is much greater than the motion actually experienced.
A motion simulator can qualify even when its actual movement is small compared with the sensation it produces. Traveling a long physical course is not required.
Ziplining uses a suspended cable and pulley, while bungee jumping uses anchored elastic cords. These more specific activities retain their own definitions.
