vacancy ends
A place resumes regular use or receives new occupants after a significant period of vacancy or disuse.
The vacancy of a place or a structure ends when new tenants or occupants begin to move in, or when regular use resumes, after a significant period when the structure was not in use or vacant.
New occupants beginning to move in can end the vacant period. Regular use can also resume without a conventional rental transaction.
The preceding vacancy or disuse must be significant. Ordinary reopening after a night, weekend, or similar routine closure does not mark the end of a vacancy period.
