formwork manufacturer

A manufacturer of plates and molds used during construction to shape the structural concrete.

Companies which manufacture the sheets and molds which form poured-in-place concrete on a construction site. Formwork materials (usually wood or synthetic materials) are generally removed during the construction process, as the concrete dries.

The manufactured sheets and molds give shape to concrete poured at the construction site. They are the forming equipment, rather than the concrete mixture or the finished concrete member.

A structural precast concrete fabricator supplies a member formed before delivery. The formwork manufacturer instead supplies the equipment used to form poured-in-place concrete at the site.
