gasoline storage
Bulk storage of gasoline, a petroleum-derived liquid used mainly as motor-vehicle fuel and sometimes as a solvent.
Gasoline storage facilities are places for bulk storage of gasoline, a liquid derived from raw petroleum which is used as a fuel for motorized vehicles (or sometimes as a solvent).
Gasoline is held after production from petroleum and before its later use. It is distinct from petroleum storage, which concerns crude oil.
Motor-vehicle fuel is the usual destination. Solvent use is also included, so the stored gasoline need not be associated with vehicle fueling at the storage site.
