An interior view is any photograph whose primary subject is the interior of a structure or other object. In general, an interior view must be taken from the inside, but a photograph taken through a window, door, or other opening from outside may qualify as an interior view if nothing significant of the exterior is visible in it.
The interior is the primary subject. The camera is normally inside the object, but the subject and visible framing are more decisive than the camera position alone.
A view through an opening from outside can qualify when no significant exterior is visible. Looking outward from inside at the area around the object has the separate photo of surroundings meaning.
