commercial airline hangar
Enclosed space for storage and/or maintenance of aircraft belonging to passenger airlines.
A commercial airline hangar is a large shed or other shelter used for storage, maintenance, and/or repair of aircraft used by commercial airlines to carry passengers. This includes hangars for aircraft used in chartered commercial flights as well as aircraft used on regularly scheduled commercial routes.
Chartered commercial passenger flights are included alongside scheduled services. A regular published route is not mandatory.
Business aircraft hangars serve organizations' own aircraft use. Commercial carriage of passengers gives this category its different scope.
