facade painting begins
The first application of the original coat of paint to a built object's facade begins.
The beginning of facade painting occurs when the first brushstroke of the original coat of paint to the facade of a built object occurs. This usually happens during or shortly after construction, but it may also occur later if the object was not painted during construction.
This process is completed when facade painting ends.
This is the first painting of the facade, including an initial application delayed until after construction. Renewing paint on an already painted facade is facade repainting; its timing alone does not make it the original painting.
