A construction photo is any photograph of a structure or other object taken before it is completed. It may be taken from the beginning of the site preparation phase until the end of the construction phase. It can be an interior or exterior photo, and may show a detail, partial view, or whole view of its object.
The period begins with site preparation and continues until construction is complete. Interior images and close details can qualify alongside broad exterior views; the construction stage is the distinguishing condition.
Work on an addition is also assigned here under the photo of renovation distinction. Alteration or repair of an already completed object can have the renovation-photo meaning when it is not construction of an addition.
