An air quality measurement station is a manned or automated facility for measuring and/or monitoring the quality of air in a particular place, environment, or level of the atmosphere.

The observations concern air at a particular place, in an environment, or at a level in the atmosphere. Both staffed and automated stations are possible.

A weather station observes meteorological conditions. Air-quality measurement has its own subject, even where equipment for both purposes shares a site.
