zoo building
An enclosure or shelter in a zoological park used for housing and/or displaying animals.
A zoo building is a building, cage, enclosure, constructed habitat, shelter, or other such structure in a zoological park which is used for housing and/or displaying living animals.
The structure provides living animals with housing or an exhibition setting within the zoological park. An open enclosure or constructed habitat can serve that role without being a fully enclosed building.
A bird shelter in a free and open environment has a different setting and excludes zoological display. The zoo building has the stated relationship to a zoological park.
