GeoSampa street ID
The identifier of a thoroughfare in the Sao Paulo city map layer published through the GeoSampa portal.
The number groups the many line segments of the GeoSampa street layer into one named road. It is the identity used by the map, published by the city through its geographic portal.
Four to six digits, without leading zeros.
It is a mapping identity and not the municipal register key, which is the GeoSampa CODLOG. The portal warns that appearing in this layer proves nothing about a road's official status, for either the roadbed or its name, and the layer includes unofficial roads and access ramps. The two identifiers are independent: most streets have both, some have only this one.
The scope is the city of Sao Paulo alone, so the number means nothing in another municipality.
