Aircraft maintenance facilities are places where airborne vehicles such as airplanes, helicopters, and blimps are taken for repairs, inspections, and/or regular upkeep.
The work concerns existing airborne vehicles and can be routine servicing or repairs. The facility need not specialize in only one aircraft type.
Spacecraft maintenance concerns spaceborne vehicles and satellites. Manufacturing a new aircraft is a different activity from maintaining one.
