Storage of discarded materials held for later recycling, including organic waste that is not being composted.
Recycling storage sites are places for holding, collecting, or general storage of materials which will be recycled later. This includes storage of paper, plastic, metal, glass, or other recyclable waste, or organic waste which is not being composted.
Recycling occurs after the holding or collection stage described here. A material can be stored for that later process without the storage site performing it.
Organic waste is included when it is held for recycling and is not being composted. Material kept to biodegrade into compost belongs to compost storage.
