A Christian Community church is a space used for services and sacraments in the Christian Community, a denomination founded in 1922 and influenced by the philosopher Rudolf Steiner.
While the church is organized with a hierarchical leadership and a tradition of sacraments similar to traditional churches, members are not required to subscribe to articles of faith, and priests have freedom to teach within the content of the sacraments. The church generally emphasizes the teachings of Christ over other Christian scriptures, and tends to accept an idea of reincarnation.
The Christian Community is the name of the particular religious movement. A non-denominational church or another congregation using community church in its name does not establish this affiliation through the wording alone.
