An alumni club is a club house or meeting space devoted to use by graduates of a particular educational institution, especially a college or a university. It can be used to host class reunions, or also as a general meeting place where visiting alumni can socialize or reconnect. Alumni clubs often feature dining rooms, lounges, meeting halls, and recreational facilities.
The shared connection is graduation from the same educational institution. Colleges and universities are common affiliations without excluding other institutions.
Class reunions are included alongside informal visits and continuing social use. A dining room or lounge can support that alumni gathering purpose.
