lighting consultant

Companies responsible for designing a building's lighting systems, including the color, brightness, and placement of lights for optimal effect.

The design establishes the arrangement and visual effect of the building's lighting. Color, brightness, and placement are included aspects of that design, rather than the manufacture of the fittings.

A lighting manufacturer makes lighting equipment, and a lighting installation contractor fits it in the building. The consultant supplies the lighting-system design that those products and installation work realize.
