facade installation
A contractor which assembles and attaches cladding elements (other than windows) to a building's exterior.
A facade installation company is a contractor which builds and attaches a building's facade during initial construction or during facade replacement. This role does not apply when a structure's internal framework forms the outer facade.
The work builds and attaches an exterior facade to the structure. Both initial construction and later replacement are included; the definition therefore concerns the installed exterior rather than only the building's first construction campaign.
A facade fabricator supplies the materials or major components. Window installation is distinguished when windows are installed separately, while windows integrated into a curtain wall are part of that facade installation.
