transit direction center
A desk, booth, or other place providing travelers with directions or assistance with their journey.
A transit direction center is a desk, booth, or other place where travel directions or commuters' assistance is offered as a service. This often belongs to large airport terminals or train stations.
The service supplies information or help to travelers. It can occupy a small part of a larger terminal rather than a separate building.
The assistance function differs from moving passengers or vehicles through a pathway. Its purpose is to help people navigate or use the transport system.
