mixed-use complex

A mixed-use complex holds at least two buildings with different main uses, for example an office building beside a residential tower, or a hotel beside a shopping center. The classification follows the use of the buildings, not their shape or their arrangement on the site.

A single building with several uses is not a complex. Record it as one building and give it more than one usage value.

Where the differing uses sit in separate complexes of a larger planned area, the area above them is a mixed-use development, which is a cluster.
