height
Vertical distances above a structure's base level, measured between specified lower and upper points.
Heights are measurements taken along a radius from the center of the earth, which extend above the base level of a structure. Each height must have a defined base and a defined top.
Heights are measured in the same units as length, depth, thickness, and elevation.
The upper endpoint distinguishes a height to the roof from a height to the highest tip. Elevation uses mean sea level as its reference, so a height and an elevation need not have the same value.
