raised floors

Elevated floorplates designed to allow advanced wiring systems underneath.

Raised floors are an amenity in which a floor structure is raised a few centimeters above the structural floorplate in order to create space for cables, wiring, and pipes for electronics and utility systems. With raised floors, tenants can install outlets at any point in a floor, thereby avoiding cable clutter and allowing virtually unlimited electronic hookups.

These are commonly used in commecial offices, trading centers, broadcast studios, and data centers.
