mayan revival

A twentieth century revival of classical Mayan stylistic features.

Mayan revival architecture is a somewhat rare early 20th century revival of classical Mayan architectural features. Its hallmarks include imitations of stonework found in Mayan temples and public structures, as well as incorporation of Mayan script and ornament on facades and interior surfaces.
