park
A grassy or naturalistic area for recreation and repose in an urban or small town setting.
A park is a landscaped naturalistic area in an urban, suburban, or small town setting, which is open for recreational activities or for walking and relaxation. Parks are generally grassy areas, often with many trees, but not wholly forested. Playgrounds, gardens, zoos, picnic areas, dog parks, and other distinct outdoor constructions are often included within parks.
The landscaped area provides a setting for recreation, walking, or relaxation. Its naturalistic character can include several distinct facilities without the whole site being devoted to one of them.
A sculpture park instead has a large sculpture collection as its main focus. A general park can contain artworks while retaining a broader recreational purpose.
