entrance fee (adult)

The amount charged for admission to a usage zone at its regular adult admission rate.

An adult admission fee is the amount of money charged to enter a usage zone when the person entering is not eligible for discounts accorded to children or senior citizens. This fee may or may not be applied to teenagers. It is usually higher than any other regular admission fee.

An admission fee is quoted in a currency and applies to a particular time. A later price change does not alter the amount that applied earlier.

Eligibility can be set by venue policy or applicable law. Where a museum ends its child rate at 12 and another at 18, both are recorded as the child fee, so two values in the same field can describe different groups of people.

A reduced fee that requires proof, such as a student card or a disability card, is still the fee for that category. Whether a visitor can produce the proof is not part of what this field records.
