advisory committee
A group of experts or concerned persons which enters relations between companies and governments.
An advisory committee is a group of experts, usually from assorted firms or practices, acting together to provide counseling or assessments with government or other public-interest involvement. It usually works at a local or regional level.
The participants act together to provide advice or an assessment. They can come from separate firms or practices without becoming a single commercial consultancy.
Government or public-interest involvement is part of the committee's context. Giving advice does not itself give the committee the executive powers of the body receiving that advice.
