industrial material

Manufactured facade materials formed by processing or combining substances into a new building material.

Industrial facade materials are man-made materials, made from substances such as stone particles, glass fibers, cement, and/or various chemicals.

The material is a manufactured substance rather than a piece of naturally occurring stone or wood. Its ingredients can still include natural minerals or fibers.

Concrete and cement board are existing examples within this family. The substance differs from its facade arrangement as panels, tiles, or another surface form.
