The number of individually owned residential units, including units rented out by their owners.
The number of condo units in a built object or any defined place is the total quantity of discrete habitation units there which are individually owned, distinct from the entity or association which owns the whole object or place.
This data field includes units which are individually owned but whose owners put them up for rental or lease to tenants.
The count follows ownership of each habitation unit. A change from owner occupancy to rental occupancy does not move an individually owned unit into the rental-apartment count.
