Places where an audience watches or listens to a performed or recorded program for entertainment or artistic enjoyment.
Show venues are places where an audience finds entertainment or artistic pleasure in watching a performed or recorded program.
The audience receives a program, which can be presented live or played from a recording. The presence of live performers at the venue is therefore not required in every instance.
A rehearsal space is routinely designated for preparing a performance. Its usual lack of an audience distinguishes that preparatory activity from presenting a show.
