number of revolving doors

The total number of weather-sealed revolving doors, including doors within the interior and along the perimeter.

The number of revolving doors in a building, structure, or other place is the total quantity of weather-sealed doors which turn around a central axis to let people through. These may be located at the perimeter of a building or within its internal floorplan; because they restrict air exchange caused by pressure and temperature differences, they are most commonly found at outdoor-facing points on the perimeter, but it is not uncommon to find them on the inner side of a vestibule or entry hall.

The counted doors rotate around a central axis and provide a weather seal. Their position inside an entrance vestibule does not exclude them.

Both perimeter and interior examples belong to the total. The count concerns revolving-door installations rather than the number of rotating panels or people passing through.
