gas heating (central)

Heating is generated for the whole building by burning natural gas on the site.

Central gas heating describes a system where various rooms throughout a building receive heat from a single natural gas burner through ducts. This system applies to buildings where the whole structure, or multiple floors thereof, are heated by gas burners which feed hot air into distribution channels.

The gas burner supplies hot air to ducts serving the whole structure or several floors. The distributed air carries the heat to the rooms.

Floor-by-floor gas heating describes individual local burners. The central duct network distinguishes this arrangement.
