damaged by construction errors
Mistakes or inadequacies in a structure's own construction damage it partly or completely.
A structure is damaged by construction errors when any kind of recognizable mistakes or unwarranted inadequacies in its construction cause structural failure or any kind of notable damage to it. If a structure is damaged by errors in another structure's construction, then this does not apply, and it is listed as being damaged by another structure.
If a structure is damaged by errors in the construction of a neighboring building, e.g. through improper relocation of soil, then it is listed as being damaged by another structure.
The error must belong to construction of the damaged structure itself. An identified defect without structural failure or other notable damage does not by itself establish this damage event.
