free-defined zone

Any section of a structure which can be usefully distinguished from other parts, and does not match a predefined module type.

A free-defined zone is a section of a structure which anyone finds useful or necessary to differentiate from other parts of the structure, and yet does not correspond to any other defined type of module. Such modules must be defined in some way, either through data or explanation, by the persons listing them.

The area must have a stated basis for distinguishing it from the rest of the structure. Its extent cannot depend solely on an unexplained label.

A zone that already matches an occupancy, usage, address, or other defined module type has a more specific description. The free-defined form covers useful divisions outside those existing types.
