A collision with a boat, road vehicle, or train damages a structure partly or completely.
Damage to a structure by a vehicle occurs when any ground-based or water-based vehicle impacts the structure and causes any kind of damage to it, either partially or by destroying the structure completely. This does not include damage caused by airplanes or other flying vehicles.
The vehicle can travel on land or water, so a boat impact is included alongside road and rail collisions. It must strike the structure and cause damage.
Aircraft damage has its own event definition. The amount of damage does not determine that distinction: either type of vehicle can damage a component or destroy the structure.
