damaged by vandalism

Malicious destruction or defacement, excluding bombing or arson, causes property damage that decreases a structure's value.

A structure is damaged by vandalism when any act of wanton or malicious destruction or defacement (aside from bombing or arson) causes property damage which decreases the value of the structure. This includes graffiti, deliberately broken windows and facade damage.

The damage can be defacement of a surface as well as destruction of a component. Graffiti or deliberately broken windows qualify when they cause the property loss described here.

Bombing and fire damage from arson are expressly excluded. Damage by theft separately describes illegal removal of elements intrinsic to the structure.
