Foundation work resumes at or below a structure's base after an irregular stoppage lasting at least 10 days.
Resumption of foundation work on a structure occurs when a structure has not yet reached the frame assembly stage, and when work resumes at or below its base level after an irregular pause of at least 10 days. If the stoppage was entirely regular or based on a holiday, then neither it nor the resumption should be registered as events. This event changes the status of a structure from on hold back to foundation work.
The structure must still be below the frame assembly stage when work restarts. Once it has begun rising above the base, resumption of an unfinished frame is recorded as framework resumes.
A routine holiday pause is excluded even if it lasts ten days. The resumption must follow a qualifying construction halt during foundation work.
