airport cargo terminal
An airport facility for receiving cargo aircraft and transferring freight to or from airplanes.
A cargo airport terminal is a facility for receiving planes and transferring cargo to and from them.
The terminal provides the connection between air transport and the cargo's movement or handling on the ground. Both loading outgoing freight and unloading arriving freight are included.
Passenger boarding and its associated waiting and ticketing spaces belong to an airport passenger terminal. Cargo handling can have its own terminal within the same airport.
