owner of landed property
The owner of the land on which a built object is placed, independently of the object itself.
The owner of the landed property associated with any object is the legally recognized titleholder or shareholder to the land on which that object is built, irrespective of the owner of the actual object. The owner of landed property may or may not be the same as the object's owner.
The recognized interest concerns the land supporting the object. Holding a title or share in the building alone does not establish ownership of that land.
One entity can own both land and structure, or the two can have separate owners. The landed-property role identifies the land interest independently in either arrangement.
