photo of exterior
A photograph showing a broad outside view of an object, either in full or as a significant section of its exterior.
An exterior view is a photograph showing a broad view of an object from outside. It may show the object from top to bottom, or merely a significant section of the exterior, as opposed to a small area of detail.
Showing the object from top to bottom is allowed without being required. A substantial exterior section can still give the broad view described here.
A close view centered on a small surface feature belongs to photo of exterior detail. An image focused on neighboring grounds or objects belongs to photo of surroundings.
