Features enjoyed privately within individual building units, distinct from shared tenant or public amenities.
Unit amenities are special features of a building which apply to individual units, and are enjoyed by tenants within the privacy of their own spaces. They are distinguished from tenant amenities, which are shared by a building's users in common, or public amenities, which offer benefits to anyone in the vicinity.
The benefit is available within the occupant's own unit. Similar fittings can occur in several units while remaining private to each.
A shared facility for building users is a tenant amenity. Its availability to many occupants is different from a feature provided inside their individual private spaces.
