Facade scaffolding removal ends when the last pipes, tubes, bamboo sticks, or other elements of scaffolding are removed from the exterior of a building or structure, having served their purpose during maintenance, construction, or replacement work. The scaffolding may have covered all or part of the facade.
This event often accompanies facade renovation, restoration, recladding, or full renovation of the structure. It also is done frequently for routine maintenance.
The last removed scaffold elements complete dismantling of the installation. A scaffold covering only part of the facade can still have this endpoint, which is distinct from the first removal work.
