Special properties or facilities directly associated with a built object, including amenities and physical characteristics.
Features and amenities are special properties, advantages, amenities, and extra facilities which a built object possesses. These include enhancements for tenants, public benefits, green features, general distinctions conferred, and special physical properties. Each of these must be associated directly with a particular structure, although in some cases it can be outside the structure on the same property. If a feature is fully shared between multiple buildings, then it is applied to each one.
The feature has a direct relationship to the particular structure. It can lie outside the building on the same property, and a shared installation can benefit more than one building.
Unit amenities benefit private units, while public amenities benefit the wider community. Other features describe the structure's physical characteristics without necessarily providing a shared facility.
